I started this blog because I really want to see other succeed and make the into this lifestyle. Since Covid, I have been in contact with many of you expressing your interest in learning the “homesteader” lifestyle. My goal here is to help make those dreams attainable and less daunting.
My goal is to help put you at ease. As you make the commitment into growing, canning and cooking all of your food. By doing this, I also want to share all the resources that I use regularly in my life. None of what we do came naturally to us. We have experienced a lot of trial and error.
Ryan (my husband) always tells me, “it is never a failure as long as you have learned something”.
These words have become my mantra through difficult situations. In the moment of “failure”, it is hard to remember what I have learned.
It is ok to not be a pro when you first start this journey. I want to help navigate you through those challenges. And get you to a feeling of comfort and familiarity with this life. You can totally do this.
