Stand mixer, hand mixer, or a wooden spoon and old fashioned elbow grease.
1 Parchment Paper
For cookie sheet while baking

Ingredients

butter
softened

sugar

egg

cup
molasses

cup
flour

baking soda

tsp
cinnamon

tsp
salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350℉
Combine all ingredients in a bowl
Mix until completely incorporated
Shape dough into 1 inch balls
Roll dough balls into sugar until fully covered
Place on cookie sheet. Evenly spaced with approximately 2 inches between each ball.
Bake cookies for 10 minutes until the bottom of the cookies have browned.
Let cookies cool on cookie sheet before moving to a cooling rack.
